Dear Hog,

Thank you for the latest videos about confidence. They were very useful to me and I'm sure to others too.

I now have a general question to ask you. I was talking to a friend about approaching women. He said that approaching women at night was easier for him but I said the opposite. We argued and argued but came to the conclusion that both the day and night "game" are equally good but one should know the advantages and disadvantages in order to get the best possible outcome.

What is your take on day game vs. night game?

If you meet a girl in day light, THIS will never happen:

YOU: Hey, good to see you again, I hope you like the restaurant I... yikes! You looked hot at 2 in the afternoon but in the dark you look like beastly!

Us men love women and we want to meet beautiful and vivacious girls at ALL hours of the day! But yes, you must absolutely change your tactics depending upon your situation.

This is true for anything, not just meeting women. If you were meeting someone for the first time at a birthday party you might say, "Hi, nice to meet you! How do you know the man of honor?!"

But it would be odd to have the same attitude at a funeral, "Hi, nice to meet you! How do you know the man of honor?!"

No, at a funeral most people are more reserved, quietly respectful, toned down. At a party it is usually acceptable to be more upbeat and playful.

And at a bar certain things are appropriate that are not appropriate at say, the LAUNDROMAT.

YOU: Hey babe, can I buy you a, uh, rinse cycle?

And you MIGHT be able to say THIS at the laundromat but NOT at the BAR...

"Ya know, every time we meet, your panties are wet. Ouch! Why did you slap me?"

Different situations require different skill sets.

Let's look at the...

NIGHT CLUB

- pro: some girls go out with the intention of hooking up. If you are good at identifying these particular girls... you will increase your success rate.

con: some of these girls have cooties in their hoo-ha!

- pro: there is alcohol consumption. Many women feel less inhibited to talk to new people when drinking.

con: drunk people are difficult to talk to and she will feel less inhibited to abruptly stop talking to you when she sees something more attractive or shiny.

- pro: there is dancing. This is a good excuse to get physical and that can speed up the process of mating.

con: there is dancing. And you must avoid it if you have the rhythm of a twitching parakeet that's been shot in the face with a b.b. gun.

- pro: If you are good looking and fit, some women will want to kiss you simply based on your appearance.

con: if you have man hooters, as I call them, mooters, you will be at more of a disadvantage than usual because most girls don't get all dressed up and tell their girlfriends, "Girrrrrl, tonight I want to find a man with chesticles!"

- pro: It's dark so you can pretend to be good looking.

cons: So can they!

Therefore, the types of guys who should definitely NOT waste their time and money trying to meet women in night clubs are...

- The key to remember is that nearly ALL women want to meet an AWESOME guy. The thing is, their patience is short because of all the loser guys who have been approaching them. So approach with confidence and a smile and GIVE her some sunshine and happiness.

- Meeting girls at the supermarket... Girls get approached here plenty, so don't think this is an easy one. The way to do this is to be prepared. If you want to meet women at the supermarket, then dress well, groom yourself, and be very outgoing and friendly. See if she gives you a second look. Look for any opening whatsoever to make conversation.

- Meeting women at typical day time locations is slower paced but still requires a fun energy -- it's just toned down. There is less obvious competition but many times it's more difficult to tell if a girl is LOOKING to meet a guy so your competition is more likely to come from her already having a boyfriend or her just not being in the mood to meet someone right then.

- Do the things that get you what you want. Have fun doing it! If you're good at day game, you can learn to be good at night game and vice versa. A great athlete might be slightly better at night than during the day but he's still a great athlete no matter what situation you put him in. That's you.
