When you really LISTEN to someone... you make them feel IMPORTANT. This is a huge ego-boner!
Girls love it when you LISTEN to them! Too many guys are wasting money on pills that claim to grow their p3n!s. No! Get pills that make your EARS bigger! Girls dig a guy with huge ear drums!
GIRL: Ooh, look at those giant ears! He must be AMAZING at listening. I want him!
And women, guys also want to be heard. Too many girls are self-conscious that their ears stick out. Guys love that! They love a girl with two satellite dishes that take in his talking.
GUY 1: Is your new girl hot?
GUY 2: Yeah! She's got huuuuge, well, you know.
GUY 1: Yeah?!
GUY 2: And she's got jewelry dangling from 'em.
GUY 1: Whoa!
GUY 2: I guess they're heavy too, because she has to hold 'em up with ear muffs.
GUY 1: Whoa! What?
Also, when you listen to someone, you can understand them. This makes them feel closer to you emotionally.
When you're with a person of the sexy sex, your listening skills can not only make them feel close to you, but it can get them ATTRACTED to you!
GIRL: Ooh, at first I thought you were a repulsive troll with the body odor of a marathon running camel but now... you've made me... feel special.
GUY: At first, I thought YOU were a very average looking girl but you’ve made ME feel special. I won't even have to get drunk to have sex with you!
So stop thinking about what you will say next, and LISTEN to them.
YOU: But I'm too nervous that I'll run out of things to say!
No! LISTENING will GIVE you things to talk about. LISTENING will give you things to comment on, topics to tell stories about, the opportunity to read their body language and tone of voice to see their real feelings.
Here are 5 Tips to Becoming an Amazing Listener
1 - Sense what they are passionate about and remember that. Ask them what they love to do. Ask them what they would do if they had more free time. Find out what they LOVE. And never forget it!!!
Why? Because now you know how to get them in a good mood! Now you know how to get their attention! Now you know more about them.
THEM: I feel sad.
YOU: Hey, l remember your favorite fun thing to do! I'm coming over so we can pose for pictures with pretzel rods! Look, I have a mustache! Now I'm a walrus with pretzel rod tusks! I have crazy pretzel nipples!
2 - Remember the details. Not only must you remember their name... remember their nickname, remember their dog's name. Remember the name of their home town. Remember the name of their favorite candy.
Remember any kind of story they tell that seems meaningful to them.
Remembering the little details shows you were REALLY paying attention!
You remembering her favorite movie, his favorite band, those things show you care!
HER: Hey, I got you a birthday gift! Tickets for us to see, live in concert, The Flaming Gall Bladders!
HIM: Um, ok.
HER: Aren't you excited? It's your favorite band!
HIM: No, my favorite band is the The Gaming Ball Fladders.
HER: What? That doesn’t make any sense!
HIM: I'll tell you what doesn’t make sense, US! You don't understand me! Boo-hoo!
