My new girlfriend is amazing, she is soooooo sweet, nice and everything I always wanted in a girl. Everything!!!

The problem...

I had an apartment and I had some money issues so I had to go back with my parents... I have been on my own since I was 18 and now I am 22 and I am back with them and well, I feel shy about it.

When her and I started talking I told her I had an apartment so she will always be like let's chill at your place today and I will always make an excuse. Well finally I told her and well it was a bomb. She said that she hated people that lie, and people like "me."

Then I got a huge text saying that it wouldn't be good if we got back together. She lost interest. She said she is into me but she feels hurt. She said that she wanted "time."

I told her how I felt about her. She said she doesn’t like people that beg, and I said I wasn't begging I was only telling her how I feel about her.

What can I do to get her back? How can I fix this situation?

Guys, don't get caught lying to your girlfriend. Do you hear me? Don't get CAUGHT lying. Don't get CAUGHT. hahah. Or how about this easier method... don't lie!

When it's something you'd rather not talk about because you think it would be easier to lie...

Be direct. Be confident. Be bold. Make no apologies. She has to respect that. If not, tell her to hit the road like a toad thrown from an abode while... um, programming code. And stuff.

Nobody wants to be LIED to! Get better at helping your partner UNDERSTAND you so you don't have HIDE or LIE about your actions.

You lied about this, so now your girlfriend fears you might lie to her about other things. She can't trust you.

You can't have a healthy relationship without trust, so guess what... she's RIGHT! You screwed up!

Which is MUCH worse than screwing down. But not AS bad as screwing AROUND. Because then you'd be TOTALLY screwed. And stuff.

To fix it, take these 4 steps:

1 – Apologize. Tell her...

"What I did was wrong. I didn’t intend to hurt you, but I did. I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore. I want to be with you, but ultimately I'll respect your feelings.

But are you sure you don't want to be "feelings" these biceps?!

2 – Explain. Tell her...

"The reason I lied was because I felt super embarrassed. I really care about you and when I lost my apartment and had to move back with my parents, I felt ashamed. I was scared you wouldn't like me anymore because of this.

"I should have known that you are a good person and that you wouldn't judge me. But I judged MYSELF as being a failure and that lead me to do something stupid and lie and I hurt the girl I care about. It was a huge mistake. I see that now. I didn't mean to hurt you.

"To make it even, you can hurt me back. Pinch my nipple. Really. Pinch it hard. Yowwww! You gave me a... boner!"
